GARRETT D. GREEN’S BIO
Mr. Garrett D. Green is a partner at Nichols & Green in Fairfax VA. He has consistently received high praise from his clients due to his excellent client relations and his ability to obtain results in court that very few attorneys can match. He handles predominantly criminal and traffic cases in all Northern Virginia jurisdictions, including the General District, Circuit, and Juvenile/Domestic Relations Courts of Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, Herndon, Vienna, Prince William, and Loudoun.
His traffic defense practice includes defending clients who are charged with DUI, reckless driving, driving on suspended, and speeding offenses. Some of the different types of criminal cases he also defends his clients against are simple and domestic assault & battery, larceny, embezzlement, shoplifting & credit card fraud cases, and drug crimes.
The importance of having a skilled and experienced trial lawyer working for you cannot be overstated – simply knowing the law is not enough. Mr. Green is keenly familiar with how different judges and prosecutors will interpret the law and facts of your case. Regional disparities can make an enormous difference in the results obtained in your matter, so be sure to hire someone who knows all the ins and outs of the County where your case will be heard.
Mr. Green is an author of Virginia Drug Crimes Defense Manual and Defending Virginia Property Crimes. To write or read reviews from the hundreds of people who have been defended by Garrett Green click here.

Why I am different?
Win Your Trial
While nobody can guarantee a particular outcome, we are known for aggressively trying cases and winning, not for pleading our clients guilty.
Negotiate A Fair Deal
When winning at trial is not an option, we work hard to negotiate a plea deal that is fair and reasonable.
Avoid Jail Time
In many cases, jail time can be minimized or avoided altogether with knowledgeable, thorough defense strategies.
Avoid a criminal conviction
A conviction can adversely affect your security clearance, your immigration status, your career, or your educational prospects.
Keep your driving privileges
Losing your license or gaining points on your license can impact your ability to work and care for your family, which we want to help you avoid.
Protect your auto insurance premiums
Insurance premiums can increase exponentially after a traffic offense or other driving-related crime.
The cost associated with traffic offenses, DUI charges, and other criminal offenses can be steep, which is why we want to fight the charges to eliminate or decrease those fees.
Protect your job and your family
Facing serious charges can be stressful for the accused and their family. We want to do our part to take that burden from your shoulders.
